Initially Rock was supposed to play a big part in today’s episode, but he was unable to appear on-screen due to a contract negotiation issue.  The writers had to do a massive, last-minute re-write to make the episode without his character, but we actually feel that it turned out for the better.  The issues with his contract have now been resolved, and he is scheduled to appear in next week’s episode.
