No couch surfing or homelessness needed–apartment found.  It is a tiny little studio that I am probably paying too much for, but it beats the alternatives.  I’m still getting settled in, but hope to start drawing again soon.  I go back to work in a couple of weeks, and would like to have a nice big buffer for that.  The goal is to go back to updating twice weekly.
